How to Play Fish rain
Your goal? Simple. Catch fish. Sell for currency. Upgrade stats. Unlock rarer species. The heavier the catch, the bigger the payout. Master the timing minigame on the float. Build your abilities to land sharks and beluga.
Core Fishing Loop
Cast the line. Watch the bobber. Press ↓ (Down Arrow) or tap to hook when it dips. Reel to shore. Choose: Sell for Silver Coins or Release for XP stars. Watch ads for x3 multiplier on rewards. Repeat until you've got enough currency to level up.
Progression System
Earn Silver Coins (soft) and Gold Coins (hard). Spend in the Abilities screen. Upgrade your rod strength, hook speed, float sensitivity. Unlock fishing spots: Pripyat River, Lake Baikal, South American waters. Each location holds different fish types. Pike and perch for starters. Carps, catfish, sharks for late game. Progress bars fill 0/100 per ability tier.
Pro Strategy
Ignore small fish early. Sell everything under 500g to stack coins fast. Use the Landing Net (Space ␣) for bigger catches to avoid breaks. Change time of day—night fishing spawns rarer species. Don't skip ad bonuses. Triple rewards = faster upgrades. Focus upgrades on Hook Speed first. Faster pulls = more fish per session.
