How to Play Baldi
Your mission is simple: Collect 7 notebooks scattered across the school. Each notebook contains math problems. Solve them. Wrong answers make Baldi faster and angrier. Escape through the EXIT before the ruler finds your skull. Two modes: Story (fixed challenge) and Endless (nightmare fuel).
Navigate the Nightmare School
Move through sterile hallways using WASD or Arrow Keys. No maps. No hints. Just white brick corridors and the sound of footsteps behind you. Hit Spacebar to jump over obstacles. Click Left Mouse Button to grab notebooks, open doors, or interact with items. Mobile? On-screen controls adapt instantly. Watch the Stamina Bar—sprint too much and you're dead meat.
Solve or Die
Find a notebook. Answer the math quiz on the You Can Think Pad. Use the numpad to input solutions. Get one wrong? Baldi speeds up. Miss two? He's sprinting. The difficulty escalates with every mistake. No retries. No mercy. Solve all 7 sets before the ruler connects.
Dodge NPCs and Obstacles
Other characters roam the halls. Some block your path. Others trigger traps. Avoid eye contact. Use inventory items to distract or delay pursuers. Plan your route between notebooks. Dead ends = death. The school's layout feels wrong on purpose—non-euclidean hallways mess with your spatial sense. That's the point.
