How to Play Fish Go
Goal is simple: Become the apex predator. Merge identical fish on the 3x3 grid to level them up. Deploy your strongest unit into the action phase. Eat smaller fish. Grow bigger. Avoid anything larger than you. Survive the timer. Return to base with Gold and Gems. Repeat until you dominate the leaderboard.
Merge Phase - Build Your Arsenal
Start at the grid. Drag identical fish together. Two Level 1s make one Level 2. Three Level 2s make a Level 3. Pattern repeats forever. Spend Gold to buy base units. No fish? No game. The grid is your factory. Stock it smart. Unlock higher-tier species by merging. Rare fish = bigger scores in the arena.
Action Phase - Eat or Be Eaten
Hit the battle button. Joystick controls your main fish. Circle smaller fish. Absorb them. Each kill adds to your swarm and score. Floating numbers show XP gains. Watch the Timer at the top. Red fish with higher levels? Avoid. Sharks are instant death. Run. Survive until time runs out. Cash out. Go back to the merge grid with loot.
Progression - The Currency Treadmill
Dual economy. Gold Coins buy base fish. Gems unlock premium units and boosts. Ads give free currency. Click the "+" buttons next to counters. Watch 30 seconds. Get rewards. Never leave the grid empty. Always merge up before battle. Focus Gold on buying multiples of the same fish. Merging costs nothing. Stockpile Level 3+ units. During action phase, ignore tiny fish once you're mid-size. Target clusters. More fish per second = faster growth. Use the mini-map to dodge danger zones. Sharks patrol corners. Stay center until you're massive. End-game tip: Max one fish type. Don't spread resources across the grid.
