How to Play MinePuzzle

Your mission? Restore scrambled pixel-art landscapes. Each puzzle starts with shuffled tiles and one empty slot. Slide pieces into the gap until the image matches the reference thumbnail in the corner. Fast solves = bragging rights.

The Sliding Mechanic

Click any tile next to the empty space. It swaps positions. Chain moves to shift the grid. No dragging. Just clicks. Watch the Move Counter (footprint icon) track every swap. The Timer starts the moment you load in. Bonus challenge: beat your own record.

Difficulty Progression

Start at 3x3. Easy mode. Then climb to 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and brutal 7x7 grids. More tiles = exponential complexity. The 7x7 boards require surgical precision. One wrong move and you're stuck backtracking for 30 swaps.

Speed vs. Efficiency

Two playstyles. Speedrun the timer. Or minimize moves for puzzle perfection. Check the reference image (bottom-right thumbnail) constantly. Solve the corners first. Lock the top row. Then dominate the rest tile by tile. Pro tip: memorize voxel patterns. Lava scenes, mushroom forests, daytime villages—each has unique landmarks.
